Time is gone, we need a new crew member for overland trips. My Land Cruiser has served very well for 13 years already, it is time to give her a brake, and leave her only for the good stuff (she'll be in Utah ready for the action). I decided to buy a Toyota Tundra Limited Crewcab TRD Off Road (what a long name) I needed a big truck that can take me and my family with all the stuff that kids require in the most comfortable platform. The Tundra with the already tested and abused V8 5.7L engine and 381Hp seems to be the right choice, is really huge inside!! and I'm 6'4"... you have plenty inside space plus a 5.5 bed for cargo. It has IFS on front but rigid axle in the rear. I just love to drive her.
Of course, I'm not leaving her in original conditions, some upgrades had to be done. But little by little, can't afford to do buy all the things that I want for her yet... so let's start with the basics: Lift Suspension Kit by ICON Vehicle Dynamics, ICON rims, BF Goodrich All terrain KO2 315/70R17, Face upgrade to TRD Pro, LED dome lights, Bushwacker fenders and a Bakflip to cover the bed (for now). Simple changes that gives her that badass looking.
