EXPEDITION REQUIREMENTS

Vehicle: Any 4x4 brand with a functional Transfer Case (4-Lo).
Condition: Must be in top mechanical shape with no active leaks.
Recovery: At least one Rated Recovery Point (Front or Rear).
Camping Gear: Tent/RTT, awning, camping chairs, and table.
Sleeping: Mattresses, pillows, and sleeping bags/sheets.
Lighting: Flashlights and area camp lights are mandatory.
Food & Drinks: We provide main meals, but please bring your own favorite snacks, extra water, and preferred beverages.
The Grill: Bring your own protein (Steak/Chicken) for the Saturday Social Grill. We provide the fire and sides.

The OX Code of Conduct

Staff Directions: Follow all OX Staff instructions at all times.
Alcohol Policy: Strictly prohibited during trail hours and kayak activities.
Firearms: No Open Carry allowed. All firearms must be kept secured and out of sight inside your vehicle.
Zero Recklessness: No dangerous maneuvers or reckless driving allowed.
Quiet Hours: No loud music at the campsite. Respect the forest and the group.
Leave No Trace: You are responsible for packing out all your trash.
Staff Authority: The OX Staff reserves the right to expel any participant whose behavior disrupts the safety, harmony, or progress of the expedition. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Are pets allowed? No. Due to strict local regulations at the kayak launch sites and for group safety, pets are not permitted on this expedition.
Can children under 4 attend? No. For safety reasons on the water, our kayak service providers do not allow children under the age of 4.
Where are we camping? We will stay at an exclusive private campsite by a lake. To maintain security and exclusivity, the exact coordinates will be sent via email 48 hours before the event.
Is there power or showers? No. This is an off-grid experience. There is no electricity and no showers at the campsite. However, toilets are available.
Are the kayaks included? Yes, the use of kayaks is included. You may bring your own, but you are responsible for transporting and loading them to the Silver Springs launch point.
Can I use a motorized boat in the lake? Gasoline engines are strictly prohibited. Only electric motors, kayaks, or canoes are allowed in the lake.
Can I bring a fishing rod? Yes! Fishing is allowed at the lake.
Is it a private event? Yes. The campsite is exclusive to our group. No outside guests or uninvited friends are allowed once the expedition has started.
What is the group size? To ensure a perfect experience, the convoy is strictly limited to 10 vehicles. No additional spots will be opened.
What if I have zero off-road experience? Even better! This is a "Discovery" expedition. We will teach you everything from the basics to expert tips. We are here to answer every question and guide you through the trail.
What meals are included? Your registration includes: Welcome cocktail, Saturday & Sunday breakfasts, Saturday trail snacks, and the side dishes for the Saturday Social Grill.
Are there professional photos? Yes! Professional photography throughout the entire expedition is included. You will receive high-quality memories of your rig in action.
What about trash? We will provide two trash bags per vehicle. You are responsible for packing out all your waste.
