EXPEDITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Vehicle: Any 4x4 brand with a functional Transfer Case (4-Lo).

  • Condition: Must be in top mechanical shape with no active leaks.

  • Recovery: At least one Rated Recovery Point (Front or Rear).

  • Camping Gear: Tent/RTT, awning, camping chairs, and table.

  • Sleeping: Mattresses, pillows, and sleeping bags/sheets.

  • Lighting: Flashlights and area camp lights are mandatory.

  • Food & Drinks: All main meals provided. Bring your own favorite snacks and preferred beverages.

  • The Grill: Premium meats (Picanha, Chicken breast, Chorizo, and Morcilla), sides, and fire are fully provided.

The OX Code of Conduct

  • Staff Directions: Follow all OX Staff instructions at all times.

  • Alcohol Policy: Strictly prohibited during trail hours and kayak activities.

  • Firearms: No Open Carry allowed. All firearms must be kept secured and out of sight inside your vehicle.

  • Zero Recklessness: No dangerous maneuvers or reckless driving allowed.

  • Quiet Hours: No loud music at the campsite. Respect the forest and the group.

  • Leave No Trace: You are responsible for packing out all your trash.

  • Staff Authority: OX Staff reserves the right to expel any participant who disrupts the safety or harmony of the expedition. No refunds.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Are pets allowed? For the safety of the group and to comply with local wildlife regulations at the kayak launch sites, pets are not permitted on this specific expedition

  • Can children under 4 attend? We welcome young explorers! However, to comply with our kayak partners' safety standards, all participants must be at least 4 years old.

  • Where are we camping? We stay at an exclusive, private  location. 

  • Is there power or showers? Camp Seminole Spring offers bathrooms and hot showers at the Great Lodge. There are no electrical hookups at the campsites, but the property has everything you need to stay comfortable while staying connected to nature.

  • Are the kayaks included? Yes! Full kayak gear and professional guidance are included. You may bring your own, but you are responsible for transporting them to the Silver Springs launch point.

  • Is it a private event? Our scheduled activities, trails, and gatherings are exclusive to our group. The campsite at Camp Seminole Spring is a shared property open to other campers, but our experience, routes, and events are reserved for OX Discovery participants only.

  • What is the group size? To maintain an intimate and exclusive convoy, the expedition is strictly limited to 12 vehicles.

  • What if I have zero off-road experience? This is exactly why we created "Discovery." We provide professional guidance and workshops to teach you the basics of navigation and recovery in a safe, controlled environment.

  • What meals are included? We handle the logistics so you don't have to. Included: Friday Welcome Cocktail, Saturday and Sunday full hot breakfast, Saturday mid-trail snack and drinks, mid-water snack during the Sunday kayak tour, Saturday Signature Social Grill with premium meats and sides, and Sunday dinner.

  • Are there professional photos? Yes! Professional photography throughout the entire expedition is included. You will receive high-quality memories of your rig in action. View our portfolio here: 3AF Photography

  • What about trash? In line with our "Leave No Trace" policy, we provide trash bags for each vehicle. Participants are responsible for packing out their own waste to keep the forest pristine.
