Overland Xperience (OX) organizes multi-day off-road adventure events that combine navigation, exploration, camping, and community activities in a structured and organized environment.

OX events are designed for drivers, families, outdoor enthusiasts, and adventure seekers who want more than a traditional off-road race. Participants can choose to compete, explore, camp, or simply enjoy the off-road experience at their own pace.

More than a competition

While Overlanders Xperience is known for its navigation-based competitions, OX is designed to offer much more than competition.

  • Compete in navigation-based challenges

  • Join guided routes and exploration activities

  • Camp at the official base camp

  • Participate in OX Quest discovery activities

  • Watch special challenges and competitive stages

  • Attend social gatherings, raffles, and awards ceremonies

Family-friendly off-road adventure

Overlanders Xperience is a family-friendly event.

Families are welcome to camp together and enjoy a full outdoor experience that includes:

  • Camping at the official base camp

  • Guided off-road routes suitable for families

  • OX Quest exploration activities

  • Kid-friendly activities depending on the location

  • A safe and organized environment focused on responsible recreation

Children are welcome as passengers when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, making OX an ideal weekend adventure for families who enjoy the outdoors

Multiple ways to participate

OX off-road adventure events are inclusive and open to different types of participants and vehicles.

Participants may join with:

  • 4x4 vehicles

  • ATVs (four-wheelers)

  • Side by Side vehicles (SxS / UTVs)

Whether driving, navigating, camping, or spectating, there are multiple ways to be part of the OX experience

Categories for different experience levels

OX offers several categories that allow participants to choose their preferred level of challenge.

Xtreme Class

The most demanding category, created by merging the former Modified and Standard Pro divisions. Designed for experienced teams with advanced vehicle preparation and strong navigation skills.

Adventure Class

The evolution of the former Tourism Pro category. Offers competitive navigation challenges without extreme vehicle modifications.

Discovery Class

Designed for beginners, families, and participants who want to enjoy the event at a relaxed pace, focusing on exploration and learning rather than competition.

Each category follows the same core philosophy of navigation, accuracy, and teamwork, while offering different levels of difficulty.

Camping as part of the adventure

Camping is a central element of every OX event.

Participants camp at the official base camp, which serves as:

  • The start and finish point of routes

  • The location for special challenges

  • A gathering place for participants, families, and spectators

​

Base camp offers a strong community atmosphere and allows participants to fully immerse themselves in the off-road adventure experience

Exploration beyond the trails

In addition to driving routes, OX encourages exploration and discovery.

Through activities like OX Quest, participants explore nearby points of interest, natural landmarks, and scenic locations, adding an extra layer of adventure beyond the competitive stages.

Responsible off-road recreation

Overlanders Xperience promotes responsible off-road recreation and environmental awareness.

OX off-road adventure events primarily take place in selected locations across Florida and Georgia, chosen for their terrain variety, navigation complexity, and camping opportunities.

In addition to these core locations, Overlanders Xperience has also organized:

  • Competitive events in Texas

  • Exclusive VIP expeditions in Utah, focused on scenic overland routes and exploration
